Between the warm weather and blooming flowers, it certainly feels like spring is here! And pleased to say that our local real estate market is already heating up and yet somewhat easier to navigate than 12 months ago (the frenzy). Buyers are now finding more options with a little breathing room and most Sellers are still more than satisfied with their sales price, as values remain strong and stable.
"This is an amazing time to buy as competition is temporarily lower due to the seasonality of our market and rates being slightly higher. That said, those waiting for lower rates should definitely reconsider and buy now. When rates ultimately move lower the increased pool of buyers will drive the limited inventory of homes back towards a bidding war. That extra cost of waiting could be 50k or more in many cases. Settling now at the list price and having a plan to refinance later is the best strategy."
